I served, with Lt., Bob Byrnes, for a few months, in 1967. He was killed, a couple of months, after I, left Vietnam. 40, years, have passed and I still, remember and will never forget, Scottie Byrnes.

Bob was my officer, in OCS. and later came, to Viet Nam, to serve. I was in the air, over his unit and on the radio with him, when he was killed. He was, a very courageous man and a great leader. Thank you, for all you did, for us!

my name is, steve hancock and I served, with bob. I got hit, 2, days, before him. I found out, after I came back to the outfit that he, got hit. We shared some good times, together and he was a true patriot. It is always amazed me, how qickly we all became friends in such, a short time. he along with others, from that time are always, in my thoughts. r.i.p lt., byrnes.
